Abstract

862,534. Hand trucks. MATHIAS STREIFF A.G. April 17, 1959 [April 17, 1958; May 1, 1958], No 13118/59. Class 108(1). A hand truck for lifting one end of a pallet comprises a pair of feet 2 mounted on rollers 1, and interconnected by a handle member 4 and a brace 7. The extension 3 of the foot engages the underside of the pallet (Fig. 2) and the handle 4 is raised to lift the pallet. When in the raised position the load on the pallet tends to keep the handle in this position and other embodiments having this feature are described.
