848,206. Pulverised fuel-fired furnaces. WALTHER & CIE A.G. Nov. 23, 1956, No. 35974/56. Class 51 (1). In a boiler fired by a pulverised fuel burner 2, Fig. 1, the combustion and radiation chambers are separated by a tubular wall 4 having at its lower end a closed hollow chamber 5 into which water-supplying tubes 6 are horizontally led from the side walls of the combustion chamber 1. The chamber 5 is formed by forking the wall tubes at 7, Fig. 2, and joining the resulting limbs-which constitute riser tubes-at 8, at which point the tubes 6 each connect into one of the tubular loops so formed, the loops not directly connected to a tube 6 being supplied through cross connections from those which are.
