Class 20(2) Ladders comprising cylindrical metal rungs 12 which fit into aligned holes 13, in tubular metal stiles have a feather 17 on one or both ends of the rung which engages a recess in the inner hole 13 to prevent the rung turning, the ends of the rung being spun or swaged over. The feather may extend into another recess in the outer hole 13.
