Abstract

833,991. Rotary compressors. LEAD WOOL CO. Ltd., and BALL, E. F. Oct. 17, 1956 [Oct. 17, 1955], No. 29576/55. Class 110 (2). [Also in Group XIII] Cooling-oil is fed from a sump 30 to a rotary compressor 21 by a pipe 28 as in Specification 783,339 and some of the oil is carried from an oil-separating baffle 29 by compressed-air to a felt filter 33 which permits most of the air to pass through a pipe 35 to a receiver while the previously-entrained oil flows with a small amount of air through a labyrinth trap assembly (see Group XIII) in a tube 11 to the air intake 24 of the compressor.
