Class 29 An absorption refrigeration machine includes an absorber 2, spray members 7 in the absorber and a drip member 6 placed beneath the spray members to collect solution discharged by the spray members and lead it to a container 5 for the solution including means connected to a purge-line within the absorber for withdrawing non-condensible gases from the absorber, the drip member being adjustable to vary the amount of solution collected. As shown, the drip member 6 pivots horizontally in a sleeve 8 and is fixed to a rotatable shaft 11 adjustable and locked from outside the absorber 2. Specification 800,249 is referred to.
