Abstract

820,977. Tractor wheel attachments. SCHURMANN, F. Jan. 18, 1957 [Jan. 19, 1956], No. 1986/57. Class 144 (1). A ground-gripping cage for attachment to the outboard side of a tractor wheel comprises a flanged hub 2 which is boltable to the tractor wheel and from which radiate obliquely a plurality of circumferentially spaced bars 1, the bars each comprising an axially inner spoke portion 1a which merges into an axially extending tread portion 1b, the outer end of which is curved radially inwardly and welded to a carrier ring 3 of smaller diameter than that of the cage formed by the tread portions 1b.
