Class 108(1) A tipping mechanism for elevating the towbar of a trailer using the tractor power lift links comprise a cranked frame having pairs of arms p pivotally mounted on the tractor by radius links s, and arms j carrying a transverse member to which the tow-bar x is attached. The cranked frame is 'inverted to tip the trailer by pairs of links a which connect the pivot g at the apex of links p and j to the power lift link e at d. A hand lever z operates hooks which engage a transverse member of the cranked frame to prevent tipping when not required.
