Abstract

A pick-up hitch for agricultural tractors or other towing vehicles comprises a support member 1 adapted to be secured to the tractor and towing means pivotally mounted on the support member to pivot downwardly under gravity. The towing means comprises a holder 2 and a draw-bar or hook member 4 detachably and adjustably connected to the holder. The holder 2 is connected to the support member 1 by linkage including a third order lever 12 pivotably mounted on the support member and interconnected with the holder via a pivot link 13. Lifting means 17, 20 are connected to the lever 12 to raise the towing means and latch means 21, (23) are provided on the holder and support means to retain the towing means in its upwardly pivoted position, the latch means being actuated by the lever 12. <IMAGE>
