807,458. Portable containers. PLUMMER, A. July 10, 1957, No. 21836/57. Class 66. A powder-container has a detachable base 15 of moulded flexible synthetic resin material the base having around its entire periphery a pair of closely-spaced upstanding lips 16, 17 which receive between them the annular wall 11 of the container which is thereby sealed. The wall 11 and the upper parts of the container are of sheet-metal and the base may be of nylon polystyrene or polythene. The inner lip 16 is slightly longer than the outer and both are upwardly tapered. Specification 807,457 is referred to.
