787,226. Furniture tips. DANIELS, R. R. J., and HUSGEN H. E. March 19, 1956, No. 8541/56. Addition to 717,084. Class 134 A head 47 of rubber or other resilient material is secured by moulding or bonding to the cap of a furniture tip described in the parent Specification and the upper peripheral edge of the material is protected by a flanged ring 48 of metal or other durable material. The ring 48 may be a friction fit or may be secured by bonding or moulding or by means of an adhesive. Alternatively an unflanged ring may be secured in an annular rebate formed in the upper edge of the resilient head. The head 47 may be other than circular in cross-section, in which case a correspondingly shaped ring is used.
