807,459. Portable containers. PLUMMER, A. July 10, 1957, No. 21837/57. Class 66. A refill for a powder container of the type having a detachable base, comprises a base 16 having an integral upstanding peripheral wall 18 and an integral upstanding peripheral lip 17 adjacent to but outwardly spaced from the wall, the lip, wall and base being moulded as one piece from a synthetic resin, the refill being adapted to be inserted into the container with the lip overlying the container-wall 11. The remainder of the container 11 is of sheet-metal and the refill may be of nylon, polythene or polyvinyl-chloride. The top of the refill may be closed before use by a tear-off cover. Specification 807,457 is referred to.
