806,647. Vehicle wheels. KLOCKNERGEORGSMARIENWERKE A.G. Nov. 11, 1955, No. 32375/55. Class 144 (1). In a light-weight rolling stock wheel of the type comprising a radially and circumferentially, sinusoidally corrugated, wheel disc S, the circumferential corrugations 9 having peak values which gradually diminish from the hub to the rim 8, the circumferential corrugations 9 are odd in number and disposed so that the arcs of curvature thereof at diametrically opposite points on the disc are inverted in mirror-fashion with respect to each other. As shown, the wheel may be mounted on a hollow axle 1 receiving a stub axle 2, or on a solid axle 3, and a tyre 4 may be integral with, or shrunk on to, the rim 8.
