Abstract

804,494. Spring clips. KERTESZ, C. Oct. 7, 1955 [Dec. 7, 1954], No. 28663/55. Class 44 [Also in Group XIV] A clip stamped and folded from a single sheet of material comprises two gripping limbs A, B, the outer ends of which are separated by pressing together fingeroperated actuators D extending from a head structure C which connects the inner ends of the limbs and includes a resilient arcuate or U-shaped loop 20, the ends of which are brought together to open the clip. As shown, .bifurcated limbs A, B are in contact at their outer ends E, or lie in parallelism, the actuators D being stamped from the material of a bridge 13, 15, forming the head structure C, and residual material forming the arcuate loops 20. The outer surfaces of the actuators Dare roughened and in a modification. the lower limb is an imperforate plate.
