775,776. Mixing-machines. APEX CONSTRUCTION, Ltd., and PECK, W. C. July 28, 1955 [July 30, 1954], No. 22339/54. Class 86 A powder mixer comprises a mixing vessel having two frusto-conical compartments 1, 2 which are connected together with their axes inclined to each other and coplaner with a horizontal axis of rotation in which trunnions 11, 12 are located. The container is rotated by an electric motor 16. Inspection and charging openings are closed by flanged cover plates 5, 6 and a cylindrical discharge port 4 is closed by a cover plate 9. In a modification, a conical discharge port is provided. Specification 668,589 is referred to.
