Abstract
769,188. Walls; slabs. JANHENEN, M. May 31, 1955, No. 15509/55. Class 20(4) and 87(1) A method of securing wall facing slabs 4, Fig. 5, comprises connecting irons 3 to vertically aligned irons 2 which project from a wall 1, and joining to the irons 3 elements 5, which project from the slabs 4, the space around the irons 3 being finally filled with concrete or other hardenable mass. The wall 1 may be built of light weight concrete blocks, and the irons 2 and elements 5, which may be irons embedded in the slabs 4, are bent around the vertical irons 3. To form a cavity 6, rubber tubes 7 or mortar are placed on either side of the irons 3, oakum 9 is placed between adjacent slabs 4 and the verticle channel so formed, filled with concrete 10. The slabs 4 may have checks, shoulders or grooves at their edges.
