Abstract

764,654. Two-part couplings. ANTIFERENCE, Ltd., and BEST, N. M. Feb. 11 1955, No. 4199/55. Class 38(1). A plug for attachment to a coaxial cable 18 comprises an outer metal shell 11 having a rearwardly extending shank 12 and enclosing an annular insulating bush 16 to which is riveted a central pin 15. The shank is partially flattened as shown in Fig. 3 to form laterally extending portions which may be gripped by pliers to clench the shank on to the outer conductor 21 of the cable, the inner conductor 19 being soldered to the outer end of pin 15.
