Abstract

762,226. Sliding clasp fasteners. PRIOR, J. April 29, 1955 [April 29, 1954], No. 12396/54. Class 44. In a sliding clasp fastener of the kind in which each interlocking part or catch is moulded in one piece with an integral attaching strip or flange portion from a synthetic plastic material, each attaching strip or flange is formed with holes or slots to give increased flexibility to the attaching strip. In one form, Fig. 2, each portion A or A<SP>1</SP> is formed with holes or slots a, while in another form, Fig. 5, each portion is formed with slots a defined by ribs a<SP>2</SP>, each of which carries a fastener element a<SP>1</SP>.
