Abstract

857,724. Sliding-clasp fasteners. INDUSTRIEHOLDING UND HANDELGESELLSCHAFT. June 27, 1958 [June 29,1957; Jan. 28, 1958], No. 20739/58. Class 44. A sliding-clasp fastener comprises a pair of chains of clasp-members 1 produced by stamping from strips of synthetic plastic material. Each clasp-member has two webs 2 and may have either one coupling tongue 3, as shown, or two opposed tongues. The clasp-members are interconnected by integral strips 4. The chains are stitched to forks 6 of a supporting band 5 and a slider engages surfaces 13 on the forks 6. In a modification the chain, Fig. 3, is stitched to a member 8 which is then stitched to the supporting-band 10.
