Class 80 (2) [Also in Groups XVI and XVII] A clutch connecting shafts 34, 39 in a carton forming machine (see Groups XVI and XVII) comprises a driving wheel 689 having an arm 706 pivoted to it, a recess 713 in the arm engaging a pin 692 on the driven wheel 690. A roller 708 pivoted on the arm 706 rides on the wheel 690, and to disconnect the clutch, a cam 693 is advanced into the path of the roller 708, whereby the arm 706 is raised clear of the pin 692. The movement of the cam 693 is obtained from solenoids 704, 705 operated by switches on the machine (not shown).
