Abstract
752,716. Delivery stopping mechanism. WILLIAMS, J., and VILIMEK, H. J. June 25, 1954 [Dec. 28, 1953], No. 18755/54. Class 120 (2). Means for interrupting the feed of thread &c. between pressure feed rollers 1 and 7 upon, for example, breakage of the thread &c., comprises roller displacing means and feeler means operatively associated with the roller displacing means, the roller displacing means consisting of a shoe 6 of curved section carried by an arm 3 forming the feeler means and being pivotally mounted coaxially with a pressure feed roller, and the shoe 6 being disposed concentrically with the pressure feed roller such that pivotal movement of the arm 3 resulting from, for example, breakage of the thread permits the shoe 6 to enter between the peripheries of the pressure rollers, thus stopping the feed of the thread. Stop means may be provided for limiting the movement of the roller displacing means.
