Converting electric energy into motion of fluids by the action of magnetic fields.-An electromagnetic interaction pump comprises a flat tube 1 divided into a plurality of smaller channels 3 and situated between magnetic cores 4 wound to produce a travelling flux, the sides of the tube being provided with metal rods 2 for conducting the axial component of the induced currents.
