741,723. Overhead conveyers. PARKER MITCHELL ENGINEERING CO., Ltd., and PARKER, W. J. May 29, 1952 [May 29,1951], No. 12624/51. Classes 78 (1) and 104 (2). An overhead conveyer comprising load carriers suspended by rollers 3 from a rigid track 1 and driven by a cable 7 has the cable clamped in a flare-ended groove formed by oppositely facing grooves in a plate 6. Rubber grommets 14 may be inserted between the cable 7 and the groove 13. The plates 6 are shown bolted together and to the bracket 5 on which the rollers are mounted, the whole forming the load carrier.' The plates may be hinged together.
