739,977. Sucker fastenings. PRESSSCREW (MIDLANDS), Ltd. April 14, 1954, No. 10928/54. Class 44. [Also in Group XXIII] Relates to a sucker fastening for attaching a wiper device to a vehicle windscreen (see Group XXIII). Referring to Fig. 5 the rubber suction pad 4 has an axial spigot 8 tightly embraced by a metal eyelet 9 mounted in a bearing aperture 10 in the arm 2 of the wiper device 3, a washer 12 being interposed between the arm and a flange 9b of the eyelet.
