Abstract

518,504. Windscreen wipers. DUDLEY, W. Aug. 26, 1938, No. 25070. [Class 138 (i)] A windscreen wiper arm pivoted at 10 to a bracket 4 is provided with a flat spring 9 engaging a roller 8 for maintaining the wiper pressed against the windscreen' or raised from it, respectively. The spring is secured to a U- shaped fitting 5 carrying the wiper arm, having a back wall inclined to the spring and side portions serving as guides for the same.
