[Also in Group IX] Rollers for supporting and rotating rolls of sliver in sliver-feeding mechanism (see Group IX) comprise longitudinal metal stampings 26 riveted at 27 to end discs 25 and supported by intermediate discs. The stampings on one axial half of the roller are circumferentially staggered with respect to those on the other half to obviate vibration.
