Abstract
722,941. Multi-position switches. BUSCHJAEGER DURENER METALLWERKE AKT.- GES. July 25, 1952 [July 25, 1951], No. 18907/52. Class 38 (5). In a rotary switch having contact carrying spring-blades 3, 3', 5, 5' actuated by cams 9, 10, the casing 11 has an integral core 1 which extends within the blades to provide a bearing for the operating shaft 8 and a support for fixed contact rings 6, 7. The spring blades are housed in recesses and cavities in the unitary casing and core member, and the'cams are housed in recesses in the casing. Both or one of the cams may have projections 16 co-operating with recesses in the end of the core 1 under the bias of a spring 17 to locate the cams and shaft in their various operative positions.
