Class 125 (1) A jar comprises an outer pot-like portion 1, and an'inner pot - like portion 6 spaced therefrom and having a peripheral flange 7 near its top edge extending outwardly and resting on the top edge of the outer' portion, the inner and outer portions having axially arranged interengaging threaded elements preferably an internally threaded boss 4 on the outer portion and a co-operating threaded spigot 9 on the inner portion. Preferably the inner portion extends upwardly and is formed with external threads 8 for a screwcap 11.
