690,032. Boxes. OGILVIE, J. D. Sept. 26, 1950 [Sept. 26, 1949], No. 24698/49. Class 18 A box comprises two collapsable tubular elements 4, 5 which when erected on the box bottom lie side by side to form a partitioned container, flaps 8, 9 attached to the bottom maintaining the box erect by engaging over the sides of the elements 4, 5. The bottom, flaps 8, 9 and three sides of each element 4, 5 are formed from a single blank, the fourth sides of the elements 4, 5 being attached by stapling &c. Additional end panels 12 may be secured inside the box end walls, their turned over edges 13 locking the flaps 9 in position. Tabs 14 carried on the portions 11 may also serve this purpose. The portions 11 may include handles 15 and a lid may fit over the handles which pass through slots joined by an S shaped cut therein. Ventilation holes 18 may be provided.
