Abstract

684,986. Spray-producers. WELDON, A. E. Oct. 15, 1951 [July 14, 1950], No. 17676/50. Class 69 (iii). Water or like liquid is supplied to a unit 11 at 31 and flows, under the control of a manually operated valve 18, through passages 30, 14 and 13 to an outlet 15. The liquid flow draws disinfectant or the like from a container 35 through a tube 34 and a passage 33 to the passage 13. The mixture leaves the outlet 15 and strikes a deflector 41 to create a spray. A needle valve 39 in the passage 33 controls the flow of disinfectant, &c. The valve 18 is normally urged by a spring 24 into a closed position, and is opened by a pivoted lever 27. The Provisional Specification states that an aperture, preferably provided with an adjustable screw valve, may be arranged in a part 32, to enable air to be sucked in at the same time as the liquid is drawn up.
