Abstract

675,834. Fluid hoists. SMALLPEICE. C. D. P. (Holm, H. F., and Hoppe, N. F.). Jan. 4, 1951. No. 355/51. Class 78 (ii). Control 30, by means of plungers 31-32, controls distribution of fluid source 33 to pipes 34-35 and 34a-35a which connect the said control to the ends of piston cylinders 11-12, the plungers 19 of which by means of rods 18 carry pulleys 21 around which the load cable 25 passes. Depression of plunger 31 raises the load and depression of plunger 32 lowers the load. Each cylinder may incorporate the valve of Specification 651,371. The two cylinders are separated by rods 14.
