565,610. Hydraulic machines and apparatus. WICKMAN, Ltd., A. C., and BANNING, A. J. May 14, 1943, No. 7727. [Class 69 (ii)] In hydraulic mechanism of the reciprocating plunger type, a valve is opened when the plunger approaches the end of its stroke to admit pressure to a secondary plunger opposing the first, thereby relieving the applied pressure. In a clutch operating mechanism comprising a number of clutch levers A each operated in opposite directions by plungers a, c, secondary plungers g enter cylinders h at the end of the stroke in either direction and valves o are opened by push rods r to admit pressure to the cylinders. Pressure on the clutch levers is thereby relieved. The secondary plungers may be formed separately from the plungers a, c and rigidly connected or linked thereto.
