[Class 122 (i)] [Also in Group XXVIII] Piston rings 8 for use in an air compressor of the divided piston type (see Group XXVIII) are formed of compressed red fibre and are pressed out of their grooves 46 against the cylinder wall or liner 47 by means of oilresistant rubber rings 48.
