674,320. Composite building - slabs. HOROWITZ, A. Dec. 11, 1950 [Dec. 24, 1949], No. 30208/50. Class 87(i). In a composite building- slab comprising a body portion 1 of fibro-cement to which is secured by mortar 2 a thin metal facing sheet 3 provided with a backing 4 of bituminous paper &c. the metal sheet 3 and its backing 4 extend at 7 beyond the laower edge of the body 1, a complementary recess 8 being provided at the upper edge. The rear face of the body portion may be covered with bituminous paper 9. The side edges of the slab may be provided with ribs 5.
