Abstract

518,448. Bricks. WHITTEN, W. H. Sept. 29, 1938, No. 28340. [Class 87 (i)] A brick 1 is provided on its upper face with square projections 3 and on its lower face with a recess 4 to receive the projections 3 of an underlying brick or bricks. The brick is also provided with vertical apertures 8 spaced apart from' the projections; a pointing rebate 5 and a frog 2. The apertures 8 may receive reinforcement and mortar. Notches may be provided on the vertical edges for pointing.
