666,090. Spray-producers &c. OXLEY, F. May 22, 1950 [June 20, 1949], No. 16354/49. Class 69 (iii). A pocket sprayer includes a hollow liquid-containing piston 1 which is held in the upward position within a cylinder 2 by a spring 11. On reciprocation of the piston through a plunger 1b incorporating a detachable filler cap 4, air is forced through a tube 14 to an outlet 16 adjacent an outlet 13a of a spray liquid tube 13, and the spray passes through a slot 17 in the cylinder. The tube 13 has a breather hole 18, and its outlet bears against a resilient pad 20 when the sprayer is in the closed position. Rotation of the piston is prevented by a rib 22 sliding in a key-way in the cylinder head. A cover cap, not shown, frictionally held by projections 27, encloses the sprayer.
