[Class 20(iii)] A power-operated regulator for vertically sliding windows, particularly of motor vehicles, comprises a piston and cylinder mechanism 5, 6 operated for example from the intake manifold of the vehicle engine, and carrying a pair of upstanding frame members 11 carrying guides for the spaced active flights 10 of the flexible power transmission 7. A cross member 12 is secured to the flights 10 and the window bar 3 is adjustably secured to the member 12. Specification 612,394, is referred to.
