Abstract

605,033. Power-operated windows. TRICO PRODUCTS CORPORATION. Dec. 12, 1945, No. 33675. Convention date, Dec. 28, 1944. [Class 20(iii)] Operating mechanism for a sliding window comprises a fluid motor 12 with an endless belt or the like 14 connected to its piston 13 and having a reciprocating flight 16 outside the motor chamber secured to another endless belt or the like 7 secured to the window. The piston 13 may be as described in Specification 568,425 and the belts 7, 14 round and flat respectively. As shown, these belts pass over pulleys and are detachably connected by a clamp 22, the belt 7 providing two parallel portions 5, 6 on which a vertically sliding vehicle window 1 is mounted.
