Class 108(i) The tailboard of a road vehicle is maintained in its lowered position by the engagement of its lower edge 31 with stops 30 mounted on the vehicle. As shown, plates 8 are bolted to the upright members of the tailboard and are hinged on a bolt 11 carried by a bracket 12 mounted beneath the vehicle floor. The stops 30, which are preferably of rubber, are carried on brackets 32 mounted on the vehicle frame or body.
