Abstract

639,388. Toy watches. GRIFFITH, Ltd., S., and COTTRELL, W. H. Aug. 31, 1948, No. 22905. [Class 132 (iii)] A watch with an open-fronted sheet metal case a has a rotary transparent disc c with fingers d depicted thereon. The disc c is mounted between an opaque cardboard dial b and the open front of the case and is rotated by a pinion f on a spindle g engaging peripheral holes e in the disc. The spindle g has an outer actuating knob h and is held by a bridge piece i held by a cardboard packing in the case behind the dial. A sheet metal back is held on the case by lugs m in one engaging slots in the other and may have lugs n for a wrist strap or a ring for attachment to chain.
