Abstract
600,977. Clocks. BULLOCK, H. M. Oct. 8, 1945, No. 26162. [Class 139] A clock, more particularly for use by blind persons, is characterised in that the hour and minute hands are exposed and are shaped to be easily distinguishable from one another. As shown in Figs. 1 and 2 the dial is recessed at 10a into the front 10 of the clock and the numerals 13 are raised thereon. If desired " Braille " indicators may be arranged round the edge of the recess 10a on the casing. The hands are shaped as shown, the hour hand having a U cross section and the minute hand a V cross section. An alarm setting dial 20 and hand 22 is provided at the back of the casing.
