Abstract

783,383. Clocks. STEFANI, E. Oct. 13, 1955 [March 28, 1955; July 13, 1955], No. 29130/55. Class 139 A clock comprises a movement 1, Fig. 1, and a graduated dial 2 carried by the hour arbor 101. The dial 2 may be transparent or opaque with opaque or transparent hour markings respectively and moves behind a cover 8 having a secter shaped opening 9 with an inwardly projecting pointer 10. A beam of light from a lamp 5 passes through the opening 9. In another example, Fig. 4 the graduated dial 4 which cooperates with the lamp 5 is of annular form and the clock has a stationary.dial 20 over which the hour and minute hands 12, 112 move.
