Abstract
729,417. Watches. FABRIQUE SOLVIL DES MONTRES P. DITISHEIM SOC. ANON. Dec. 7, 1953 [Sept. 23, 1953], No. 34008/53. Class 139. A chronograph having at least one central seconds hand 1, Fig. 1, is characterized in that it includes at least two annular interchangeable dials 9, E, Figs. 1 and 2, adapted to be positioned selectively round a central dial 5 carrying the totalizers 6, 7, said dials being readily accessible after removal of the bezel 17 and being provided with means 12, 8 for their temporary manual fastening to a carrier plate 3 secured to the casing of the chronograph. The plate 9 carries a seconds' scale and each plate E carries a distance scale from which may be obtained the distance travelled at a given speed after the time indicated by the hand 1 and totalizers 6, 7. Each plate 9, E has two diametrically opposite pins 12, Figs. 2 and 3, grooved at 14 to engage slots 8, Fig. 1, in the carrier plate 3. The bezel 17 has depending resilient tongues 19, Fig. 4, by which it is removably fitted to the case 4 and a groove 18 for receiving the glass 23.
