Abstract

636,165. Double windows. EMBERLAND, O. Sept. 9, 1948, No. 23703. [Class 20 (iii)] In a double window the outer and 'inner windows 6, 7 are separately swingable about parallel hinges 11, 8 attached to an intermediate frame 3 which is hinged at 2 to the window sash 1. The windows may be coupled to form a unit with the frame 3 by a rotatable arm 12, the arm being mounted on a bolt 13 which is connected with a fastening device for the intermediate frame 3.
