Abstract

630,662. Extrusion machines. WILLIS, C. L. Oct. 3, 1947, No. 26621. Addition to 607,077. [Class 87 (ii)] [Also in Group II] The machine described in the parent Specification is modified in that the worm is driven by the driving shaft by means of interacting dogs. The worm 11 is integral with a flange 12 provided with dogs 13 which engage in recesses 14 in a coupling member 15 which is splined on the driving shaft 17, thus allowing the worm to be easily detached.
