Abstract

628,915. Folding racks. ISLINGTON METAL PLATING WORKS, Ltd., and SELBEY, H. July 15, 1947, No. 18867. [Classes 52 (iii) and 52 (v)] A folding rack has uprights 15 connected in pairs by horizontal strips 16, the front and rear frames being connected by pivoted levers 20, the levers on one side of the rack carrying an inverted U-shaped clip 21 adapted to fit over the lever 20 of an adjacent rack to form a rack assembly. The levers 20 are secured in the open position by a notch 24 in a plate 23 attached to an upright. Trays 19 having a folded-over rear edge 27 may be supported in either a horizontal or inclined position. The rack may also te hung on a wall on brackets 34 or be supported on a trolley.
