Abstract
875,665. Cabinets. LO HUNG HING. Dec. 19, 1957, No. 39457/57. Class 52(1) [Also in Group XVII] A cabinet which holds e.g. cigarettes and moves them to a position convenient for removal when it is opened has hinged front and top walls 4, 5 coupled to one another for opening movement, and an article carrier 8 pivoted to the side walls 1 at 10 and so coupled to the hinged walls 4, 5 as to be swung by their opening movement to present its front end upwardly towards the opening formed. The carrier 8 is moved from its rest position, Fig. 3, to its delivery position, Fig. 1, and the front wall 4 opens, by means of pivoted link 12 and links 14, 16, on opening the top 5. In a modification, the cabinet has two carriers of which the lower is moved forwards as well as being swung upwards in the delivery position.
