Abstract
674,264. Cabinets. CALICO PRINTERS' ASSOCIATION, Ltd., and GRIMSHAW, E. G. Jan. 3, 1951. [Jan. 9, 1950] No. 501/50. Class 52 (i). An open-fronted cabinet, providing means for supporting cards &c. while they are being referred to and for receiving them in an orderly manner after use, has a shelf sloping downwards from the front between side walls to a rear wall and, above the shelf, a bar extending, across the open front, so that cards allowed to slip over the bar come to rest in an orderly pile on the shelf, and a support for the cards. As shown, the shelf c slopes downwardly between sides a, b to meet a rear wall e and receives cards slipped over a bar d, extending between the front edges of the sides. Sloping supporting surfaces f, g extend upwardly from the top of the wall e making an angle of not more than a right angle with each other so that cards supported on the surface f can be easily seen by a person using the cabinet. The shelf h may be used to receive selected cards removed from the pile.
