[Class 64(i)] A heater adapted to be placed in a pit in a garage floor and having a casing a with air inlets b near the base is provided with a hinged perforated lid c through which air escapes after being heated by the flame from a gas burner f supplied by a pipe g and controlled by a tap h situated beneath the part by which the lid is lifted. A gauge shield e is placed near the base of the casing and a gauge shield d beneath the lid. A baffle j is placed above the burner f and the casing is provided with handles.
