Class 126 A transportable cooking stove comprises an outer casing 1 and an oven 6, the top wall of which is heated by combustion products flowing from a burner 9 in a metal casing 10 at the side of the oven over the wall 4 to the chimney 12. The oven is also heated by its side wall 5 by air which is heated in a space 11 formed between the wall 5 and the casing 10. Feet 15, which may support a fuel supply tank, have handles 16, and a hot-plate 13 is preferably mounted above the burner 9 in the outer casing of the stove.
