617,118. BrassiÞres. KEMP, V. F., and KEMPAT, Ltd. Aug. 8, 1946, No. 23556. [Class 141] A brassiÞre of the type comprising two overlapping, triangular breast-supporting portions 1 the lower edges 8 of, which are on the bias of the material, is formed of single-ply material folded up at the lower edges to form local double plies 12, 13 secured to the slant sides 10, 9. Each triangular portion may be formed of three pieces of material 2, 3, 4 secured together by seams 5, 6, 7 as shown, or of a single piece of material, the seams being replaced by darts. Alternatively the pieces 3, 4 may be replaced by a single piece provided, if necessary, with a dart to replace the stitching 5.
